Philadelphia Sound Forum was a small all-volunteer cooperative providing educational and community resources related to contemporary experimental music. Primarily focused on improvised and electronic music, we were also interested in forward-thinking music from the jazz, noise, rock, and modern composition genres. Our principle public face was in presentation of concerts.

PSF was founded in late 2008 by Jesse Kudler and Ian M Fraser. Additional assistance was provided by Thomas Patterson, Ethan Tripp, Faryal Maroof, Eric Laska, Kelsey Halliday Johnson, Gregory Rossi, Eugene Lew, Gina Renzi, Tim Albro, Micah Danges, Adam Nicely, Gene Coleman and many others. Thanks goes to Vox Populi Gallery, Pageaent Soloveev Gallery, International House Philadelphia, and The Rotunda for providing their spaces for our concerts.
